The facility also offers a variety of activities such as mini jeeps, saunas, and boating, allowing guests to enjoy an entire day of fun. Barbecues made with fresh local ingredients and breakfasts enjoyed in the middle of nature are also highly popular. Here, you can spend a truly special and luxurious time with the people who matter most to you. Come and experience an unforgettable getaway surrounded by nature.
A Special Outdoor Stay in Comfortable Dome Tents

¥Hoshigami no Mori offers glamping experiences using high-quality dome tents imported directly from Europe. In particular, the facility uses dome tents manufactured by FREEDOMES, a globally recognized brand known for producing structures durable enough to be used in harsh environments such as snowy mountains and deserts.
Several types of accommodations are available.
The Deluxe Dome (30㎡) is a standard dome tent designed for two to four guests. It features semi-double beds and bunk beds, and the interior is equipped with both heating and air conditioning. The attached BBQ area includes a private toilet and shower room, allowing guests to stay comfortably throughout the year.
The Executive Dome (50㎡) is the largest dome tent in the Tokai region. The dome is fully air-conditioned and located in a private space, with only one group allowed per day. Guests can relax without worrying about surrounding noise. This accommodation is designed for two to five guests and includes two semi-double beds, with additional air beds available if needed. The BBQ area is equipped with a private toilet and shower room, and the checkout time is a relaxed 12:00 noon.
The Renovated Japanese-Western Style Room (24 or 30 tatami) is located in a renovated traditional inn that is more than forty years old. Semi-double beds are placed on tatami flooring, and the rooms accommodate two to six guests. Guests can enjoy barbecue facilities while staying in a traditional Japanese-style room, making it a comfortable choice even for those who are new to outdoor experiences.
Each accommodation also offers carefully selected amenities, including skincare products, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay.
Enjoy Local Cuisine Surrounded by Nature

Meals at Hoshigami no Mori emphasize locally sourced ingredients and promote a sustainable farm-to-table concept.
At dinner time, barbecue menus featuring high-quality ingredients such as Hida beef, domestic beef, and abalone are especially popular. Even guests staying without a meal plan can purchase ingredients on site and enjoy a BBQ without bringing anything themselves. During winter, the all-you-can-eat Hida beef sukiyaki plan is particularly popular. With different seasonal menu options, guests can enjoy unique dining experiences throughout the year.
For breakfast, guests can enjoy a Morning Box that includes English muffins prepared using an Aladdin grill, sausages, salad, and other items. Preparing the meal yourself adds to the fun, and breakfast in the fresh outdoor air is a special experience. Breakfast is available as an optional add-on, allowing guests to choose according to their preferences.

A wide selection of drinks is also available, including local sake from Gifu Prefecture, various alcoholic beverages, and soft drinks. Some rare labels are offered in limited quantities, making them a perfect pairing with your meal.
Relaxation Experiences That Let You Unwind in Nature

Guests can also enjoy a variety of relaxing bath and sauna experiences designed to soothe both body and mind.
The private sauna, available by reservation only, includes a cold bath, shower room, and a covered outdoor relaxation area. Guests can perform self-löyly to stimulate circulation and promote skin health. The 70-minute session costs ¥4,400, or ¥6,600 when combined with the outdoor bath.
The open-air bath allows guests to soak while admiring the seasonal beauty of nature. It is equipped with high-quality shampoo products jointly developed by New York’s top hairstylist Stephen Knoll and the cosmetics company KOSE. Private use for 70 minutes costs ¥4,400, or ¥6,600 when combined with the sauna.
The newly renovated hinoki bath offers a soothing atmosphere filled with the natural fragrance of Japanese cypress. Like the outdoor bath, it also provides Stephen Knoll shampoo products. Private use for 70 minutes costs ¥4,400.
All of these facilities are optional services available exclusively for overnight guests. Since they are located within the property, they are easy to access and have become some of the most popular experiences at the resort.
Enjoy a Variety of Activities in the Great Outdoors

Next to the Star Plaza is a boating area that uses fresh spring water, and guests can enjoy it even before check-in. Visitors can enjoy boating, observe small aquatic creatures, and relax in the gazebo while watching the stars or enjoying a campfire.
Another popular activity is the two-seater mini jeep, which guests can drive along a dedicated course within the property. The activity costs ¥3,300 for 45 minutes per vehicle, and a valid driver’s license is required.
During dinner time, live music performances are sometimes held. Guests are welcome to join spontaneously and may even step onto the stage to sing or play music. Performances of birthday songs can also be arranged as a surprise for special occasions.
At the Star Plaza, guests can relax around a campfire and enjoy a peaceful moment under the night sky. Bringing drinks and snacks to share while chatting with friends or family is highly recommended. Playing with handheld fireworks can also make the evening even more memorable.
