The three standard domes (33㎡) are designed with private dining spaces, allowing guests to enjoy their time without the inconvenience of moving around. While the shower and toilet facilities are shared, checking the layout in advance helps ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay in nature.

There is also a limited one-unit Deluxe Dome with a private sauna, offering the ultimate way to unwind both body and mind. Having a tent sauna all to yourself while surrounded by the fresh forest air provides a truly unique glamping experience. Guests can relax and reset at their own pace, enjoying a luxurious and deeply satisfying moment.

Beyond BBQ – Enjoy Local Ingredients from Shinshu

Dining in the great outdoors becomes an unforgettable part of your journey. At Alps BASE, dinner is centered around a locally sourced BBQ that allows you to fully experience the rich bounty of Shinshu.

The table is filled with ingredients that reflect the spirit of the land, such as freshwater fish raised in clear streams, flavorful local vegetables, and game sausages. One particularly unique experience is catching your own rainbow trout at the on-site fishing pond (available from April to November). Catching a fish yourself and grilling it with salt on the spot creates a direct connection between food and experience, offering a memorable moment that both adults and children can enjoy.

The next morning, guests are served a breakfast featuring country-style bread baked by a local bakery, seasonal potage, and fresh prosciutto salad. Enjoying apple juice, or sometimes pear juice depending on availability, in the crisp morning air while surrounded by the lingering warmth of the campfire creates a peaceful and refreshing start to the day.

From summer to autumn, you can visit Marukame Orchard, located at a similar distance, to enjoy all-you-can-eat apples and pears, which are specialties of Shinshu. From winter to spring, Aqua Roman Nakagawa Farm, about 10 minutes away, offers strawberry picking inside greenhouses, allowing you to enjoy the experience regardless of the weather.
