A Beautiful Garden Surrounded by the Fragrance and Colors of Roses

In the “Rose and Perennial Garden,” around 400 varieties of roses bloom in vibrant colors during spring and autumn. In addition to roses, visitors can enjoy pansies, violas, and cherry blossoms in spring, echinacea and dahlias in summer, and autumn roses alongside fall foliage.
Each section of the garden offers its own unique theme and landscape. The “Perennial Garden” features wildflowers and plants such as wisteria, Veronica spicata, and snowdrops in a rustic, charming atmosphere. “Sakura Pathway” is a scenic walking trail around a pond, where cherry blossoms bloom in spring and spider lilies flourish in autumn.

The “Rose Garden” showcases about 60 varieties and 180 plants of English roses. Highlights include stone walls in the British style and whimsical garden guardians that blend naturally into the scenery. The “Kitchen Garden” cultivates fruit trees, herbs, and vegetables, offering a glimpse of seasonal bounty.

A popular attraction is the “Rosan Railway Milky Way,” a small train that runs through a 100-meter-long rose tunnel. Guests can enjoy a slow, fragrant ride through a floral paradise.
Unforgettable Moments with Craft Workshops and Animal Encounters

Rosa & Berry Tawada offers a wide range of interactive programs for visitors of all ages.

One of the most unique attractions is the Shaun the Sheep area, where guests can step into the beloved animated world. At the craft workshop, guests can make Shaun the Sheep acrylic keychains or create succulent plant arrangements, enjoying the fun of handmade experiences.
In the bread-making studio, visitors can knead dough from scratch and create adorable Shaun the Sheep-shaped bread, making it a favorite among families and couples.

The Colorful Candy Garden features whimsical scenes including candy houses and oversized lollipops, perfect for taking playful and imaginative photos.

Animal lovers can feed sheep at the petting farm or try pony rides. There’s also a chance to meet rare Valais Blacknose Sheep, known for their striking black and white faces and fluffy coats.
Charming Shops with Garden-Inspired and Gourmet Treasures

The garden is dotted with unique shops offering a variety of delightful finds.
At “Shop Hazenoki,” guests can find original food items, baked goods from “TEA PASTRIES,” elegant parasols and hats perfect for garden walks, and fragrant hand creams—ideal for souvenirs or gifts.

The “Garden Shop,” popular among gardening enthusiasts, offers plants like roses and clematis, seasonal flower seedlings, and high-quality gardening tools and decorations.
Wine lovers should visit “Osawa Wines,” which offers natural wines made from 100% grapes harvested at their own vineyards in New Zealand, along with specialty items like Manuka honey from Arataki.
Savor Seasonal Cuisine with Garden Views

Dining options throughout the park are designed to offer special food experiences.
Newly reopened on March 14, 2025, “CHEF’S by ROSA & BERRY” is a half-buffet-style restaurant where guests can enjoy meals with garden views. Lunch plates are paired with a buffet of homemade deli items crafted from fresh local ingredients. Optional drink bars and dessert buffets enhance the experience.
“Café EASY TIME,” located in a courtyard surrounded by greenery, is renowned for its afternoon tea. The seasonal afternoon tea features pastries, savories, and homemade scones from “TEA PASTRIES.”
“Hillside Café” offers a variety of meals such as wood-fired pizza, desserts, and fried foods, all served with a beautiful hilltop view.
At the “Sweets Stand,” guests can grab treats like castella cakes and Manuka honey soft serve to enjoy while strolling through the garden.

“TEA PASTRIES” is a specialty shop for tea and baked goods, where guests can casually enjoy handmade sweets alongside teas from a 200-year-old British brand. Popular items like scones also make perfect take-home gifts.
Enjoy fresh, local flavors and sweet delights in the heart of nature.
