Opened on May 15, 2024, Kameyama Candle Town is a new facility located within the Kameyama Corporation headquarters in Kameyama City.

Step inside the candle-inspired building and discover the flagship store “Candle Town Store”, which boasts the largest sales floor and selection. The facility also features a factory tour area, where you can observe the candle manufacturing process, a workshop area for hands-on candle-making, and the “Akari (Light) Museum”, where you can experience the beauty and tranquility of candlelight. This is a place where you can learn, create, and experience everything candles have to offer.

Experience a rare opportunity to observe candle manufacturing—for free!

Watching the candle-making process is a unique experience in Japan, and you can enjoy this precious factory tour completely free of charge!

If you make a reservation in advance, you can also enjoy a 20-minute candle-making experience for free before the factory tour! During this activity, you can create a one-of-a-kind handmade candle. After allowing it to cool and set, you can take it home as a special keepsake.

During the tour, you can freely explore the candle manufacturing process at your own pace without a guide. Monitors installed along the tour route feature the official mascot “Rosokun”, who explains the candle-making process and shares fun trivia in an engaging and easy-to-understand way.

The Candle Town Store is the flagship store of Kameyama Candle, featuring the largest sales floor and selection. The store’s off-white interior was designed by Yasutoshi Morita of GLAMOROUS Co., Ltd., a globally renowned designer. The space is adorned with 77 floating candle sculptures, creating an extraordinary ambiance.

Here, you’ll find exclusive items such as retro-design tins, tote bags, candles with vintage packaging, birthday candles, and other original merchandise only available at the store.

“Akari (Light) Museum”: Immerse yourself in the soothing glow of candles.

The Akari Museum offers a tranquil space filled with the flickering light of countless candles, allowing visitors to experience their beauty and comfort.

Take a seat on one of the benches in the museum’s resting areas and lose track of time as you relax and watch the mesmerizing glow of the candles.

Enjoy candle-making—perfect for beginners and experts alike, with no need to bring anything!

The workshop area, located next to the store, hosts candle-making experiences (reservation required, fee-based).

Join the One-Time Lesson, which offers a wide variety of options—from simple aroma candles for beginners to advanced gradient candles.
