FOREST Side rooms are designed to immerse guests in a forest atmosphere. “FOREST <‘WA’ modern>” combines traditional Japanese elements with modern design, offering a cozy warmth reminiscent of a countryside home. “FOREST <Scandinavian>” features interiors with warm natural materials and simple design, using light-colored wood and earth tones for a relaxing and nature-blended space.

RIVER Side rooms overlook a clear stream. “RIVER <Mid-Century>” draws inspiration from 1940s–1960s mid-century design, with warm teak wood and vivid accent colors creating a stylish modern feel. Three of these rooms are pet-friendly and include private dog runs, allowing guests to enjoy a comfortable stay with their furry companions.

Each unit is equipped with a private bathroom, mini kitchen, refrigerator, and air conditioning to ensure a comfortable glamping experience. In winter, select rooms are equipped with kotatsu to provide warmth and coziness during the colder months.

The standard BBQ includes a tender and flavorful Dando beef chuck steak, black koji pork loin, and carefully selected Mikawa chicken wings. The premium BBQ course offers two types of Dando beef—sirloin and chuck—providing an even more luxurious dining experience. There are also kids’ BBQ sets available, making it a perfect family-friendly meal.

For breakfast, bagels topped with Kinu-Hime salmon, a brand salmon from Aichi, are served. This refreshing combination of fresh salmon and bagels offers a delightful way to start the day. The set also includes dessert, coffee, and fresh juice for a balanced breakfast.

For guests traveling with pets, dog-friendly meals for dinner and breakfast are available. Meals are made from additive-free ingredients and portioned based on dog size—large, medium, or small—so everyone can enjoy their stay together.

A major attraction of SHITARA VILLAGE is that all accommodations come with a fully equipped Finnish-style barrel sauna. These cylindrical saunas are made from domestic cypress wood, known for excellent heat retention, efficiently raising and maintaining high temperatures inside.

The sauna rooms are set between 80°C and 100°C, promoting intense sweating in a short time.

Guests are encouraged to spend 6–12 minutes in the sauna, then cool off in a cold bath, followed by an outdoor rest session. Repeating this cycle is known to improve autonomic balance, relieve stress, boost circulation, aid in detoxification, and enhance metabolism.
