Attractions for the Whole Family to Enjoy, from Small Children to Adults

Japan Monkey Park offers over 30 types of attractions across various genres. Here are some recommended attractions!

The outdoor athletic “Da Vinci Pinch” allows children as young as one year old to play with parental accompaniment! It features 20 types of colorful and uniquely shaped play equipment, offering a unique attraction that not only exercises the body but also encourages children to think as they play.

“What if it rains during our visit?” No worries! Japan Monkey Park is equipped with all-weather facilities. “Wakuwaku Monkey Kids Gym” is for children up to fourth grade, and “Monkey Kids Jungle” is for those up to sixth grade. Both indoor playgrounds provide a safe environment for young children to play.

Of course, there are attractions adults can enjoy too! The “Highway Coaster,” set on a high mountain, and the “Canyon Splash,” where you plunge from a cliff and get splashed with water, are thrilling scream-inducing attractions.

Additionally, the park features classic amusement park attractions like ferris wheels and merry-go-rounds, ensuring a full day of fun.

“Your Dreams Set in Motion!” The Vehicle Pavilion Opens!

A hands-on attraction facility, “Meitetsu Group Vehicle Pavilion Monkey Park Station,” featuring unique content from the Meitetsu Group, opens on March 2nd, with the hope that “We want children to grow even fonder of the ‘vehicles’ they see in their daily lives!” and “We want to be the starting station that fulfills children’s ‘I want to try it!’ desires!”

There are a total of six attractions:

  1. “Train Driving Simulator” that uses a part of the training program for train drivers along with real Meitetsu train operating equipment.
  2. “Bus Driver Experience” where even young children can sit in the driver’s seat of a real Meitetsu bus and move the large steering wheel.
  3. “Role-playing Photo Spot” where you can dress up in Meitetsu train and bus uniforms and pretend to be a conductor or driver.
  4. “Bus & Taxi Vehicle Exhibition” displaying actual vehicles from Gifu Bus and Meitetsu Taxi.
  5. “Conductor Announcement Challenge” where you can wear a conductor’s cap and use a microphone to try making announcements like a Meitetsu train conductor.
  6. “Mini Diorama Exhibition” where you can operate a model of a Meitetsu train running through a diorama that replicates station buildings and townscapes.

A wonderful space filled with children’s dreams awaits! Advance reservations are required for the experiences, so please check the official website for details.

Enjoy the Summer with Pool Fun!

At “Japan Monkey Park,” seasonal limited-time events come highly recommended!

Especially not to be missed is the outdoor leisure pool facility open only during the summer! The highly popular “Water Paradise Monpool” every year is a pool that families, including small children, can thoroughly enjoy. Within its vast premises, various areas are featured.

The “Monpool Guruguru” area includes a flowing pool with a maximum depth of 90cm and a pool with a depth of 15cm safe even for babies, while the “Adventure Pool of the Ancient Ruins Dovat” area boasts the symbol of Monpool, a giant fountain “Fukidars” that shoots water up to 20m high, and five colorful slides that families can enjoy together. Additionally, the “Thrilling Slider,” with its total length of 80m and height of 15m, offers excitement, and the “Water Jungle” area, where about 1 ton of water falls from a super-giant bucket, alongside the “Chibikko Garden,” a happy pool perfect for children’s pool debut, ensures that there’s something fun for all ages!

Also, limited-time events are being held at the event hall! For details on the events and their schedules, please check the official website.

Restaurants to Savor Nagoya Specialties and Exclusive Goods are a Must-Check!

The park features restaurants and cafes in each area, offering everything from snacks to desserts. With a wide variety of options available, from light snacks to hearty rice dishes, you can also enjoy Nagoya specialties like “Giant Shrimp Fry,” “Miso Katsu,” and “Taiwan Ramen”! “Miharashi Cafe” in the Wanda Village area not only offers a panoramic view of Wanda Village, making it a perfect photo spot, but also sells popular items among children like ice cream and hot dogs. Additionally, “Kuma-san’s Castella” sells bite-sized castella cakes shaped like cute bears, with many menu items that are perfect for photos!

When you’re ready to leave, make sure to stop by the “South Shop” souvenir store located next to the south gate. Here, you’ll find Monkey Park exclusive boxed sweets, original character goods for “Monpa-kun” and “Monpee-chan,” local products from Inuyama, as well as adorable plush toys and toys. Whether you’re buying something to remember your visit or as a souvenir, you might find yourself spoiled for choice with the array of items available!
