Step Into a Fairytale World at Denpark

The highlights of Denpark are its outdoor gardens and the main attraction, the Flower Grand Greenhouse. Outside, you’ll find a variety of gardens in different styles, showcasing seasonal flowers year-round. Strolling through fields of vibrant blooms and the European-inspired landscape feels like stepping into a storybook.
Unique gardens include “World Pear Garden,” featuring approximately 70 varieties of pears from around the globe, including Anjo’s specialty “Nashi” pears. Another standout is the “Queen’s Garden,” symbolized by a myrtle tree gifted by the Danish royal family. Each garden is distinct and picture-worthy.
The large floral sculptures, or topiaries, designed in seasonal shapes like flowers or animals, are also popular photo spots thanks to their unique and charming appeal.

Inside the main attraction, the Flower Grand Greenhouse “Floral Place,” a Danish townscape is recreated. At the center, you’ll find a replica of the Little Mermaid statue, famous from Andersen’s fairy tales. Beneath the symbolic “Tower of Happiness” called “Lycke,” there’s the “Fountain of Happiness,” a popular spot known as a sanctuary for lovers. Toss a Danish krone coin engraved with a heart into the fountain to make a wish for happiness. (Krone coins are available for purchase at the “Experience Workshop Godai” in Floral Place.)
Fun Cooking and Craft Experiences

The “Clubhouse” facility offers various hands-on classes and workshops, perfect for creating memorable experiences with friends and family. (Some activities require reservations; please check the website for details.)
The seasonal cooking classes include making cookies or sausages using fresh, locally sourced Mikawa pork. Craft classes let you decorate colorful tiles in “Mosaic Tile Craft,” create “Snow Globes” with shimmering powder, or personalize “Mug Painting.”

Other workshops provide opportunities to learn from experts, such as beginner-friendly “Photography Classes,” “Paper Quilling Classes,” or more specialized sessions like “Wine Tasting” and “World Cheese Classes.”
The “Experience Workshop Godai” also hosts limited-time activities where you can create resin keychains, wreaths, and other handmade crafts.
An Innovative Play Area for Kids and Adults Alike

Denpark also features a range of play areas designed for all ages.
“Asobone” is an indoor facility where kids can play freely and creatively, engaging their “heart, mind, and body” without being affected by the weather.

The “Windmill Square,” marked by its iconic Danish windmill, includes the “Reach for the Sky,” one of Japan’s largest wooden playground structures, standing 12 meters tall. It offers a thrilling climbing experience that feels like being in the treetops.
At the end of the 55-meter roller slide “Sky Rider,” the “Children’s Plaza” awaits with colorful, Danish-made playground equipment and a sandbox, allowing children to connect with nature as they play.

In the “Wonder Forest” at the heart of Denpark lies the “Dino Land Kingdom,” where you can encounter lifelike dinosaurs like the Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, and Pteranodon. Even adults will be amazed by the realistic details. On special nighttime operating days, the “Night Dino” event lights up these dinosaurs for an exciting experience. Explore the maze-like paths with a flashlight and enjoy a thrilling adventure!
Delight Your Palate with Local Gourmet Delights

Denpark offers a variety of gourmet spots. The Japanese restaurant “Furusato-kan” serves local dishes made with seasonal ingredients and freshly harvested vegetables. The buffet restaurant “Kitchen Hanaguruma” features all-you-can-eat offerings like Japanese pork shabu-shabu, Denpark sausages, and side dishes. At “Cafe Kitchen BONO,” you can enjoy pizza made with Denmark’s Samso cheese. Meanwhile, “Cafe & Blomster” offers the popular “Denburger,” made with Anjo-grown bok choy and fig sauce.

For craft beer lovers, the “Høle Fest” brewery and restaurant is a must-visit. It serves local Anjo craft beer, “Den Beer,” brewed with care. Pair the beer with delicious dishes for a memorable time.
Adjacent to Floral Place, the market “Dekitatte Toretatte” offers handmade German-style sausages, rich gelato made with authentic Italian machines, and seasonal limited-edition breads.

Denpark also features a convenient BBQ area, the “BBQ Garden Picnic,” with all the necessary tools and ingredients provided. The concept is “Picnic with ease, together with everyone.” Savor locally sourced ingredients while enjoying a relaxing camp-like atmosphere surrounded by flowers and greenery. (Reservations required; check the website for details.)
