This area, designated as a National Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings, spans about 150 meters east to west and about 420 meters north to south across Kami-Sannomachi, Kami-Ninomachi, Kami-Ichimachi, Katahara-machi, and Shimmei-machi 4 Chome.
